In school, our class created collectable packs of Minecraft action figures. Mine was called the "Farm Pack 1" and contained the Sheep, Pig, Baby Pig, and Baby Sheep action figures as well as a wheat piece.
Since these characters already exist in Minecraft, the main purpose of the preliminary drawings was to identify the joints we would use in their figures.
The first prototypes came out quite well. The head ended up a little too heavy for the baby pig to balance on its own, but since the final product was meant to be packaged, perfect balance wasn't necessary. After printing the model in white, I used paint markers to add colors and details.
Painting on resin was much harder than on the white 3D print material, but I did get to learn about the resin printing process better through this project.
Working with resin can be tedious, especially when it chips, like it did for a part of the pig.
Most parts were resin printed, while some of the pieces were 3D printed because of their small size.
